While many other websites too seem to have the mp3 version of the songs, Youtube has a montage of the movie’s stills to go with the audio and has generated tremendous interest among netizens.
Speaking to this website’s newspaper, director Gautam agreed that one of the songs of the movie were leaked from his office over six months ago and later found their way to the internet.
“Yes, Adiyey Kolludhey is from VA. It was leaked out over six months ago from my office but it’s not the final version that will feature in the movie. The two other songs found on the net aren’t from my movie at all,” he explained.
Speculations are rife that the movie is actually an adaptation of the Russian film Karakter though it has been denied. Haris Jeyaraj has composed music for VA and the audio launch of the movie is expected in July.
Suriya teams with Gautam for the second time after Kaakha Kaakha and like Kaakha Kaakha, Vaaranam Aayiram will also be an August release.
