Tirupati and Thiruttu Payile, as of now are the only films which have booked the theatres, the other two possible releases Azagai Irukirai Bayamai Irukiradhuand Pachakuthirai are still to find buyers in many areas. Added to that the trade themselves are saying not to release new films, as they find that audiences are more interested in election campaign than films.
All fans of leading stars are involved in campaigning for their favourite political party in their areas and have no time for films. It is also far more lucrative to do election work, than put up star hoardings! ....

Why does everybody think that Sharat Kumar is a lucky hero to act with? Well, he was the hero of the film in which Nayantara made her Tamil debut. Look where she is now! A little bit of that luck might rub off on Meghna Naidu too!
'Vaitheeshwaran' is the name of the film. ....

Bhavana is Ajit’s heroine!
Lady luck seems to be in favour of Bhavana the bubbly girl from Trichur in Kerala. It is the biggest ever break for an upcoming heroine to be ‘Ultimate star’ Ajit’s heroine in Njan Kadavul. Remember that her Chithirem Pesuthadi is one of the hits of 2006 and she has just completed Veyil with Bharath produced by Shankar.
Bala who was away in a Theni resort writing the script of his ambitious Njan Kadavul was on the look out for a girl who can emote well. Initially he had approached Meera Jasmine but her attitude rubbed Bala the wrong way and later after he saw Chithirem Pesuthadi in Theni, he was impressed by Bhavana’s performance that he decided to cast her.
In all Bala films, the heroine has a well-etched out role and even in Njan Kadavul she is a springboard for the Ajit character’s heroism. Added producer P.L.Thenappan: “It is a performance oriented role and I think Bhavana can do full justice to the character”.
Bhavana has just completed her plus two exams in Trichur and will be starting work on a Malayalam film titled Chess with Dileep.
