What if her last three releases, Kuruvi, Abhiyum Naanum and Sarvvam haven’t been biggest hits to boast about? Trisha, the lissome lass, has the whole of this year tied up with interesting projects and is not ready to take up newer roles.
The actress, who made a splash for her good looks and charming demeanour in Sarvvam is currently pairing with Dhanush for Aadukalam, apart from playing Simbhu’s love in Gautham Menon’s Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya. Apart from these, the actress is keeping herself equally busy in Tollywood, with a film each with Venkatesh and Gopichand. Due to these reasons, Trisha has not been taking up any of the offers coming up her way.
Despite the entry of many newer heroines, like Tamannaah, Trisha, who first acted as heroine in 2002, has been able to survive steadily. One of the biggest reasons that sources in the industry cite for it is the actress’ attitude towards the roles she does and the remuneration she seeks. Realising that the One Crore demand can mark a career, the actress has been cautious in the money she asks for. Also, the actress has stuck purely with mainstream cinema, thus keeping her market value intact.

Rahman’s gift to Border Security Force
Unaffected by times, it’s been a heavy downpour of appraisals for AR Rahman. Certainly, his name and fame reached far-famed corners of the globe much before fetching Academy Awards. Perhaps now, he’s gone over exceeding his own expectations. More than all, Rahman has come forward postulating to benevolent acts. It goes more illustrious with his charity show for AIDS affected children in Kerala and extending free music classes for underprivileged students.
And now, Madras Mozart has extended his token of gratitude for Border Security Force by tuning a theme song for them. Now in the ages to come, the Jawans will march for his musical score of ‘Hum Sena Suraksha Baal Veeron Ka Hai’ (We are the Border Security Force of the Brave). AR Rahman has dedicated this 5mins song as gratitude of expressing laudability for the valor and strength of BSF safeguarding Borders of Indo-Pakistan and Indo-Bangladesh.
BSF Chief ML Kunawat has stated that Rahman has composed the song sans any remuneration as he wanted them to receive it as his gift. Visuals for this film under the title of ‘Border Man’ are being shot and would be released throughout all visual channels shortly. ....

Mamta - Ajit in ‘Asal’?
Though her recent film ‘Guru En Aalu’ did not make an impact in Kollywood, heroine Mamta Mohandas seems to have hit the jackpot in Kollywood this time. If the buzz going around the Tamil film circles is true then we shall soon see Mamta pairing up with Ajith in Saran’s direction.
Mamta is not only good at acting but has been gifted with a good voice. Her ‘Daddy Mummy...’ song in ‘Villu’ has become a mass favorite. Reports indicate that the girl is receiving more offers for singing that acting.
Only quite a few are as lucky as you are Mamta!
The heroine who is having a steady call sheet from the Malayalam film industry is reported to have revealed that she is doing films in Mollywood because she is not quite happy with the kind of offers that she has been receiving from the Tamil film industry.
But with this film in her kitty, we guess Mamta might want to come back here.
Amidst all this is the news that Mamta is in talks with director Saran, the maker of ‘Asal’, as the second heroine. We know that Ajith and Sameera Reddy have been signed as the lead pair for ‘Asal’. With the entry of Mamta let’s assume that she has been roped in as the second heroine.
We will be back with more interesting stories from the Tamil film industry as they happen! ....

Fans disappointed by Thoranai trailer
Oops! It’s really disgusting to find that audiences’ tastes are vividly changing within fraction of moments. A Filmmaker may go for a stylish foreign cinema sort or a Pakka commercial film, but then audiences are so intellectual in expressing their verdict just with a glimpse trailers... During the first weekend of Sarvam’s show, trailers for ‘Thoranai’ were screened. Know what an audience in the front row said, “Please Vishal! Stop making silly commercial movies and you’re comedy sense is awkward...” This is clearly because of his non-comical sense in Malaikottai that seemed to be quite odd...
We aren’t able to figure out why Vishal is constantly glued to commercial cinemas. He can better quit acting and go for making films as he has good experiences working as assistant director.
Precisely, expectations are so low for the film ‘Thoranai’ and to promote the film much, the producers have taken IPL finales into consideration and postponed release to end of this month... ....
