Oops! It’s really disgusting to find that audiences’ tastes are vividly changing within fraction of moments. A Filmmaker may go for a stylish foreign cinema sort or a Pakka commercial film, but then audiences are so intellectual in expressing their verdict just with a glimpse trailers... During the first weekend of Sarvam’s show, trailers for ‘Thoranai’ were screened. Know what an audience in the front row said, “Please Vishal! Stop making silly commercial movies and you’re comedy sense is awkward...” This is clearly because of his non-comical sense in Malaikottai that seemed to be quite odd...
We aren’t able to figure out why Vishal is constantly glued to commercial cinemas. He can better quit acting and go for making films as he has good experiences working as assistant director.
Precisely, expectations are so low for the film ‘Thoranai’ and to promote the film much, the producers have taken IPL finales into consideration and postponed release to end of this month...

Steamy kiss between Vishal and Shriya Saran!!!
A rumour is spreading like wild fire in Kollywood: A song scene in 'Thoranai' features a steamy kiss between Vishal and Shriya Saran.
But, actor Vishal has refused to comment on the liplock when he met the press last week. But, going by the high voltage glamour that was seen in his last flick 'Satyam', the rumour is more likely to be true, say Kollywood insiders.
'Thoranai' ('Pista' in Telugu), produced by Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna, is directed by debutant Ayyappan.

Thoranai's premiere in Malaysia
We’ve known that out actors and their films command a huge market abroad, especially in Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka, but ever heard of a foreign premiere for a Tamil film? In a one-of-its-kind event, Vishal and Shriya, the lead pair of Thoranai, will walk the red carpet together, to attend the premiere of their film, on May 21 at Malaysia.
The film is produced by Gk Film Corporation, and sources contend that Malaysia has been chosen for the premiere owing to Vishal’s large following in the region. The film is hitting screens worldwide on May 21, and is a bilingual, released as ‘Pista’ in Telugu. Apart from participating in the premiere, the duo are expected to interact with fans there as well.

I’m an entertainer, not a hero: Vishal
Actor Vishal, whose ‘Thoranai’ will hit screens next Friday, says he has tired playing not a hero, but an entertainer in his forthcoming flick. Directed by Saba Ayyappan, the film is a bilingual, called ‘Pista’ in Telugu.
“While I’ve constantly been working in films as an action hero, this is the first time that I think I have been given my due as an actor who can do comedy. As the film was slated to release for summer, we wanted to do a film that will be enjoyable to all. And sans unbelievable heroism, I have opted for some good entertaining fare in the film,” says the actor, who says he thinks action comes good to him. “I don’t know how good I am in dance or in romance, but I think I am good when it comes to action,” he said.
Agreeing to reports that suggested that his face was losing its sheen owing to excessive exercises, the actor said he took the comments in his stride and will work about it. “My mother has also pointed out that the glow in my face has dwindled. I sometimes think of the producer who saw me and said “someone like you can never be a hero’. Everytime I see the mirror I think of him. I’m glad I am in a better state today, because the very same producer came to me looking for dates for a film. I couldn’t accommodate him, however,” says the actor.

After Tamannaah, Reema rejects Vishal
After Tamannaah, it is the turn of sultry siren Reema Sen. She has made it very clear that she will not be acting in Vishal's 'Theeratha Vikayattu Pillai'. But she was not willing to divulge the reasons for her change of mind to the mediapersons.
The film by debutant Thiru has three heroines and Reema was supposed to play the first female lead. Though it was earlier said that Bollywood hottie Bipasha Basu would be one of the heroines, later her name was replaced by Tamannaah's. The latter reportedly declined the offer the other day as she had reservations about sharing screen space with two other female leads.
Reema has the same problem that Tamannah has. She had burnt her hands in Simbu's 'Vallavan', another three-heroine movie. ....

VISHAL goes the RAJINI way
Actor Vishal, after six months of rigorous working out, and following a diet that’s any mother’s ire, fits perfectly into the role of the policeman in Satyam.
Speaking about his six-pack and perfectly toned body, the actor said “I remember Rajini sir at a recent event, mention a diet for youngsters to follow,. That was the kind of diet I lived on for six months, completely avoiding rice, and the results are for there everybody to see.
It’s not just him, but an equally toned Nayanthara, that led to the movie shaping up well, the actor said. Speaking about the movie, director A Rajasekar said “It was a movie that had an original budget of Rs 3.85 crore. But thanks to the producers, it has come out very well, with a massive budget of over Rs 25 crores,” he said. For the first time in ages, music director Harris Jayaraj has arranged for a live orchestra recording, bringing together over 84 musicians.
“We’re living in an era when every musician’s portion is recorded as an exclusive track and then brought together. But Harris has done this for Satyam, and the music has come out exceptionally well,” Rajasekar added. Rumours about the alleged romance between the movie’s lead pair Vishal and Nayanthara hogged the limelight.
“There are so many problems in the country now, from the government’s instability to steep price hike. With such important issues, any buzz about my love life seems irrelevant,” he tactfully responded.
Early this year, the actor stirred up a hornet’s nest by stating that he was in love with a leading actress. This started speculation about the girl being Priyamani, his co star in Malaikottai, or Nayanthara. Recently, the actor clarified to Expresso that his love will not materialise.
“I’m never ever going to confess my love to that heroine. It’s not happening, so let’s forget it.” ....
