The Sunday emergency meet of Nadigar Sangam to discuss the resignation of its President Sarath Kumar, ended up with its executive committee members requesting the actor to continue till his term is over.Later, after withdrawing his resignation letter Sarath told the press: "Since it was a unanimous decision, I respect their feelings and would continue as president of Nadigar Sangam for rest of my tenure of two years."
Sarath is expected to run his newly formed political party, at the same time control Nadigar Sangam from where he draws his clout. In short the best of both worlds.
