2.Mamta croons in Kaalai
Says Simbu: “Since Vaali sir was not feeling well, I took over and wrote the song”. It is a rap song sung by G.V.Prakash himself and in the female version, when they wanted a new voice, Simbu suggested Mamta’s name. And recently Mamta had bagged the Filmfare award for Best female playback singer for her number in the Telugu film Rakhee.
