M.Thirumurugan the small screen director who shot to fame after Mettioli the successful soap on Sun TV is making his debut into films. The film titled Emtton Mahan has Nassar, Bharath, Gopika and Saranya in lead roles along with a host of television artists.
Thurumurugan?s team has scriptwriter Bhaskarsakthi, cameraman Sevilo Raja, art director K.Kathir and editor M.Jayakumar helping him. Nassar plays the role of an ?emtton? a typical tough-as-a-nut provision store owner who had come up the hard way in life as even loose change in his cash box is accounted. However he wants his only son played by Bharath to imbibe his qualities!
Bharath plays the central character of Emtton Mahan who is directly in contrast to his father as he is a happy-go-lucky young man who falls in love with his neighbour played by Gopika. When he finds it difficult to live up to his father?s expectations, the twist happens in the story creating a major crisis.
The film has six songs tuned by Vidyasagar and is produced by T.G.Thyagarajan of Satyajyothi films in their Silver Jubilee year. Emtton Mahan promises to be a neat family entertainer with father-son sentiments beautifully woven by the director.
