The Srikanth-Meera Jasmine starrer Mercury Pookkal may just be average at the box-office, but it has brought together an estranged couple. The couple had parted ways due to differences about a couple of years back. But after seeing the film where Jasmine and Srikanth, a married couple, get estranged but reconcile their differences and re-unite in the end, this real-life couple too had a change of heart and decided to get back again. The duo was felicitated at a function held in a theater where the film was being screened. Srikanth, who was present on the occasion, expressed his pleasure that cinema does bring in positive changes!
