Producer Tirupur Ramasamy and director Jayamurugan said in their complaint to the Tamil Producer's Council and South Indian Artiste's Association that the actress left in a huff over a minor issue saying the leading man of the movie Jai Akash referred to her in a derogatory manner, SIAA sources said Saturday.
Actress Nicole who flew back to her home in Pune told IANS on telephone that she had many complaints.
"I agreed to do the film for Rs.400,000 in a four-month schedule. While the shooting dragged on for over seven months, there was no extra payment forthcoming. Even worse, the quality of accommodation for me and my mother was poor. The last straw was when I was insulted as well," Nicole said.
While there are no indications from the actress about her future with the movie, sources close to the producer pointed out that they would ensure her cooperation through "appropriate channels".
This was the second instance of an actress walking out of a movie here since June.
In June, actress Malavika walked out of a bilingual film alleging molestation and being forced to do difficult dance steps.
