A lot rides on Naalai for Richard, brother of Ajit’s wife Shalini. The film also features Nasser, Madhumita, Nataraj Subramanian and a Bollywood actor Aditya Srivastava.It is another gangster movie of two buddies who take to crime and works for a big time gangster. The film is directed by Udayabhanu Maheswaran with music by Karthik Raja.
For Richard it is a very important film and if it works at the box-office the talented young actor will get a foothold in the industry. Remember that Richard had a disastrous debut with Kathal Virus and a few other forgettable films.
In Naalai the buzz is that he has a tailor made role as Justin, a tough and rough gangster. Let’s hope that the film changes his luck this Friday.
