Shriya had committed to act in Dhanush's upcoming movie Thiruvilayadal earlier. But once she had signed for the role in Sivaji alongside superstar Rajini, there were rumors that she had dropped her earlier project. But Shriya has banished away all those rumors, and the shooting of Thiruvilayadal has commenced in Chennai with Shriya acting in it. Director Boopathy Pandian, who has given a great hit Devadhayay Kanden with Dhanush before, says Shriya's role has come out well in the movie.
